From Hip-Hop to Fantasy: A Creative Journey

Born and raised in Detroit, MI, I’ve always been drawn to creativity and storytelling. My journey began in 1996, when I started sketching characters and building the world that would eventually become The Oracle Stone. What started as simple drawings evolved into a deep love for world-building, fantasy, and adventure.

After high school, I joined the U.S. Army, serving my country while continuing to develop my creative vision. Following my military service, I pursued a different artistic passion—hip-hop. Under the name Big Fee, I spent years as a hip-hop artist and producer, creating music and performing. In 2020, I retired from the music industry after releasing my final album, The Life and Times of WTF.

With music behind me, I turned my focus to fitness and became involved in the fitness industry, while also embracing a new challenge—marathons. Running became a source of discipline and endurance, much like writing. As I pushed myself physically, I also reignited my passion for storytelling.

That passion led me back to where it all started—The Oracle Stone. The fantasy world I had been imagining for decades was finally coming to life in written form. Now, as an author, I bring my experiences, creativity, and love for adventure into every story I tell.
I write epic fantasy and urban supernatural adventures, blending magic, mystery, and unforgettable characters. My books explore themes of destiny, resilience, and the fight against impossible odds—something I’ve embraced in my own journey.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the stories I have to share. The adventure is just beginning!
